 Nijah hasn't watched many movies, but the movies she has watched she enjoyed very much. Her favorite genres are thrillers and African American movies. She loves thriller because she enjoys the feeling of suspense, not so much the scare like horror movies. She enjoys African American movies because she can relate to some of the movies she watches in the genre. 

Some movies that Nijah enjoys in the thriller genre are Midsommar and Coraline. Nijah always reads about the movies she watches before she actually watches them. It allows her to determine whether she would like a movie or not. This allows her to make sure she will enjoy a movie instead of wasting her time watching it. 

Nijah enjoyed the movie Midsommar. It was about a girl whose sister killer her parents, then through that traumatic event she is seduced into a cult. She read about this movie before picking it up, and shes glad she read about it beforehand because the plot could be confusing. She enjoys this movie because there’s lots of suspense and build up to the plot of this movie. There’s also not a lot of jump scares and she likes the movie because of that even more because she is horrified by jump scares. 

She also enjoys the movie Coraline. It’s a movie about a girl who moved into a new house and through a tiny door there is another world like hers, but better. It is another thriller that she enjoys. Nijah is going to take these films that she enjoys and use then to create her commercial. Such as using minor details of sound and filter edits. Or larger editing details like using a split scene. She’s going to use these films to influence her video.
