Production Blog: Filming and Editing

  Nijah and her hardworking crew got passionate about the complex process of video editing. They carefully experimented with many editing programs, looking for the ideal balance between effectiveness and usefulness. They explored every avenue, including Video Star, Alight Motion, and After Effects, but none of these platforms fully matched their artistic vision. Their concept was given life by the serendipitous discovery of Capcut, which gave them the expressive canvas they so much wanted for their music video. Slowly but surely, they incorporated video from their first meeting, using YouTube to record the sound. They skillfully retrieved and synced the audio from their screen capture, which is a crucial step in coordinating sound and vision.
