Production Blog: Scheduling and Meeting

Nijah has been researching and planning with her team. Over the course of some weeks, her team has decided what they are filming, what they are filming, where they are filming, and how often they will record. Nijah's team has been in unison with decision making. This is allowing them to continue onto the next stages of their production. 

The main thing that was discussed amongst her team was scheduling. Due to some of the group having outside interference, they had to compromise onto when to record. Such as Nijah and Imani working, as well as Nijah having practice on top of work. As well as Callie having an executive position in an afterschool club. Adrian having many classes to account for. There are many outside factors that could determine how often they could meet. Working around everyone schedule was not the easiest task, but eventually they got a system to work. Filming on Sundays are ideal for everyone. Sometimes Saturdays if needed, and weekdays with no school if needed as well. Working on days that aren't planned could allow the teams project to be done faster. This also allows more time for editing, which lets the group execute their vision. Where they are going to film was also discussed heavily, due to everyone living a great amount from each other, as well as the school. This factor could be a make-or-break situation. The best decision that was also made was to meet at the midpoint of where everyone lives. Dania Point, which is also a great spot to have fun. Which having fun is the point of their movie.
