Introduction to Music Video

  Today is the first day of Nijah Sarduy’s blog for her new project. This blog is for her sixth period teacher, Ms.Marchionne. Nijah is taking this class because she believed it would be interesting, along with it being another aice credit under her belt. Nijah enjoys a variety of things such as dancing, sunsets, hanging out with her friends and sleeping. Things she doesn’t enjoy is broccoli, slow drivers, and obnoxious people. Her personal mission is to succeed in everything she does such as being a majorette, being class of 2025 vice president, being a student in school, and being a girl in everyday life. 

Nijah also has a hidden love for watching movies her specific way. Before she watches a movie she will watch multiple videos on the movies plot and ending before actually diving in. Although it may be an odd thing, she does enjoy knowing what the movies already about. It also allows her to pick movies she knows she likes such as thriller, romance or coming of age genres instead of ones she doesn’t enjoy as much. These genres are horror which are too scary, or action which have way too many scenes going on at once. 

Another thing she holds dear to her heart is music, with one of her favorite artist being Tyler the Creator. Listening to his large discography gives her the chance to listen to multiple genres of music like rap, neo-soul, r&b and pop. The main genre she enjoys is neo-soul because it’s like soul music like Erykah Badu or Marvin Gaye with a newer spin on it. Such as slow beats with a more uptempo feel. Listening to music gives Nijah the escape from her hectic world. 

Nijah is a determined girl, and may not enjoy schoolwork but loves her school. She loves the environment her school created for their students. She also has love for the great education benefits and options her school gives her.  Being involved in school is very important to her, this is why she is taking this class currently. She hopes for the best and expects nothing less of this class! Shes excited for this next project.

 The group filmed today again. It's always hard to plan but the group came together and finally figured it out. The group had to film the next part of their storyboard. The next piece of the project to record was the girl walking home with the man stalking her. Imani acted as the little girl and Adrian acted as the man stalking her. Callie spent a decent amount of time trying to get them to act right for the film. Act correctly as in get into actor mode, not regular person mode. Callie considers herself the director of the film. The rest of the group believes that she is crazy, but they digress. Callie was teaching Adrian and Imani how to act due to her being able to see how everything looks. She knew what to add and knew what to take out. She also told them how to add more emotion to their acting. The group took about an hour and thirty to film. Art of the Title Website

The websites that we will be researching for our title design are very helpful and valuable to the project. The first website that we used for our title design was "  Art of the Title ". This website showcased popular, award-winning movies. It also provided different designers and studios with different movies under their names and allow people to go through each movie and view the title designs. It also provides credits, presenting the different names and their jobs designing the movie. It also provides the music and artist. This website is really beneficial to our group because it gives us a guideline on how to create our own title designs. Another website is " Watch the Titles ". This website provides interviews of the designers who create the title designs. It provides different sections between featured films, student projects and more. This website provided our group block buster movies, and showed how to create an amazing title sequence.
