Production Blog

 This is the first production blog for Nijah’s commercial. She is using the app “Capcut” to add and edit her videos. Nijah went through many apps such as IMovie, Alight motion, VideoStar. She determined capcut was the best option. She’s using media directly from her phone, youtube, and pictures online. This commercial is about her everyday life interest. This includes band and family & friends, music and movies. She is very excited to get to work. 

Nijah is implementing the first picture of herself in her commercial due to the significance. This first picture was taken of her at her first homecoming football game her sophomore year (10th grade). She is adding this picture to her commercial because this was a very important time in her life; all her hard work practicing finally payed off. This picture also holds much significance in her life because being a majorette apart of the band is a lot of commitment and is one of her favorite interest. 

The second picture she chose was a picture she took with flowers. Nijah got these flowers from her father on her birthday. This picture holds significance for her because she spent the whole day with her dad on her birthday. Quality time with her family is very important to her and it something she enjoys very much.

The last picture she chose was a picture including her and her friends on the second day of school. This picture is important to her because its a picture with some of her favorite people in the world. This picture also hold significance because she also enjoys spending quality time with her friends. This is good for her commercial because it shows the people she surrounds herself with.

 The group filmed today again. It's always hard to plan but the group came together and finally figured it out. The group had to film the next part of their storyboard. The next piece of the project to record was the girl walking home with the man stalking her. Imani acted as the little girl and Adrian acted as the man stalking her. Callie spent a decent amount of time trying to get them to act right for the film. Act correctly as in get into actor mode, not regular person mode. Callie considers herself the director of the film. The rest of the group believes that she is crazy, but they digress. Callie was teaching Adrian and Imani how to act due to her being able to see how everything looks. She knew what to add and knew what to take out. She also told them how to add more emotion to their acting. The group took about an hour and thirty to film. Art of the Title Website

The websites that we will be researching for our title design are very helpful and valuable to the project. The first website that we used for our title design was "  Art of the Title ". This website showcased popular, award-winning movies. It also provided different designers and studios with different movies under their names and allow people to go through each movie and view the title designs. It also provides credits, presenting the different names and their jobs designing the movie. It also provides the music and artist. This website is really beneficial to our group because it gives us a guideline on how to create our own title designs. Another website is " Watch the Titles ". This website provides interviews of the designers who create the title designs. It provides different sections between featured films, student projects and more. This website provided our group block buster movies, and showed how to create an amazing title sequence.
